Polar is a ground-up design system built to accelerate migration from Backbone to React. My team created 60+ components, foundational tokens, and scalable patterns supporting light and dark modes as well as brand white-labeling. The system emphasized composability, configurability, and robust documentation, enabling teams to design and build with greater consistency and efficiency.
